Based on its easy handling with high stability
and reliability it is most popular also for KNX
audio, video and multimedia devices based
on DA 2.0 or direct interface in building
automations. The management of the whole
KNX-technique can be done with NETxLAB
Voyager visualisation over a touch panel. With
a fingertip and the intelligent technique in the
background you have all under control. With
the know how as international market leader
in OPC Server solutions NETxAutomation
melted the new generation with modern IT
technology and actual media applications.
The touch sensitive screen achieves various
requirements. Actual technologies like inter-
net, email and music and video distribution
are also naturally as the communication with
intercom or control of observation cameras.
The solution for integration and management
of the KNX devices is… NETxAutomation!

The Revox Multiroom System offers an open
architecture for audio and video equipment.
Thanks to the full modularity the Revox world
offers sustainability in perfection. Via the M203
KNX interface the Revox system can be inte-
grated in a building management system. Sour-
ces, scenes, volume and skip commands can
be controlled by the push of just one button.
Based on the status of the Revox system the
Revox KNX interface provides feedback for
the building management system (1bit and 14
character ASCII text) for every single room.

With the KOMTECH multi room controller
MRC A/V410 you only have to install one
cable type for LAN, audio and video (Catx).
All four video & audio-stereo input signals will
be distributed to up to 10 zones. The zone
outputs can be installed in every light switch
frame program for discrete installation. A
MRC System is controlled by KNX, RS232 &
LAN (option). By using an IR module in the
MRC A/V410, IR commands of up to four
connected devices can be controlled directly
by KNX. Using the integrated IR learner, IR
codes are implemented into the unit without
problems.

Russsond, the long time multi-room-audio
specialist, shows at ISE booth 1/13 a KNX
to RS232 module. This module connects the
international KNX bus to a line of Russound
multi-room-audio controller-amplifiers with
different features. This line allows the installer
to find the fitting combination of source inputs
and audio zones for each private building
project. In addition to source select and
volume control it is possible to have an easy
control of the sources. FM-tuner, musicserver
and iPod can be controlled from any regular
KNX keypad.

To support KNX with their digital audio multi-
room system DAM V3 6000, WHD (Wilhelm
Huber & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG, Deißlingen /
Germany) released the “DAM V3 KNX Link”.
Now you can control music distribution easily
over KNX switch plates or TFT-displays. The
configuration of the gateway runs with ETS
